THE SCHOOL

Thank you for enquiring about the School, which was established in 1988, with the aim of
providing quality training for the Private Pilot's Licence and associated ratings. We are the largest flying training organisation at Norwich Airport, with a fleet of modern aircraft, still fulfilling the original aims of the Flying School. The large number of qualified pilots trained here over the past years is testimony to the School's success.
We offer 'one to one' tuition with a Qualified
Instructor. Our instructors are all highly
experienced, with no other commercial flying jobs. We do not employ instructors who have one foot in the door of a commercial airline. Thus we can guarantee professional tuition by dedicated instructors. We have our own resident examiner to handle all ground and flight tests. Again we do not employ examiners who fly for airlines, since there are too many restrictions on their
availability. The courses on offer are always
tailored to meet the students requirements and ability.
The School works on the principle that good ground training minimises air time. Thus slot times are two hours in duration allowing ample time for pre-flight briefing, the flying (usually one hour) and a post flight briefing. Good value - we only charge for the flying!
Operating from Norwich Airport offers the advantages of modern facilities including radar and
instrument landing aids. This eliminates costly
positioning flights to other airfields for training, a common problem when operating from smaller airfields.
